trade+impact submit; women-led enterprises Morocco 2016
This is the first annual trade+impact summit, a world-class trade event, curated to ensure that quality meets international standards, the vetting panel is comprised of international buying and trade professionals. It is a groundbreaking platform to fuel business growth for leading and rising African and Middle Eastern women social entrepreneurs in the craft / textile and natural skincare sectors.
The trade+impact Trade + Investment Summit will showcase Africa + Middle East and its potential in a very unique way as the first initiative of its kind to unite and connect leading women-led social enterprises from all countries in Africa + Middle East in the two largest export sectors for women:
- Craft / Textiles (focused on textiles: fashion accessories, home décor, objects d’art, handwoven and hand-printed)
- Natural Skincare(focused on plant-based ingredients and products in the personal care sector such as cosmetics, skin care, perfumes, etc.)
These two key sectors are in their highest demand ever globally. Buyers – in Africa, the Middle East and globally —are looking more than ever for unique, differentiated, high quality, socially and environmentally conscious products and services from around the world. trade+impact is the region’s opportunity to showcase its treasures on the world stage.
There are two opportunities to participate and exhibit with trade+impact:
- A featured participant/exhibitor
trade+impact’s goal is to sponsor 50% of the total cost for up to four (4) of the leading women-led social enterprises from each country in Africa + Middle East (2 per sector: craft/textile and natural skincare) selected by a panel of experts based upon positive social impact and export success.
- A participant/exhibitor
Other participants/exhibitors must be exporting social enterprises with a positive impact on their employees and community. We encourage these participant/exhibitors to secure their own sponsorship to attend the summit + trade expo.
