Business Plan Competition for the Sub-Saharan African Countries

All interested parties can apply to the 1st Business Plan Competition for the Sub-Saharan African countries in 2014, organized by Islamic Development Bank Group (IsDB), in an effort to foster entrepreneurship.

The objective of this project is to encourage new business ideas to flourish and to make them bankable and successful. A dedicated website has been set up at:* to receive the applications from
young entrepreneurs in Sub-Saharan Africa. Participants to the competition will get a chance to win cash prizes amounting to $100,000. Other globally known institutions in the field including Endeavor, Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW), and African Development Bank support this initiative *The deadline for submitting the applications is April 30th 2014.*

The *winners *of the competition will be announced during the IsDB Entrepreneurship Event to be held in *November, 2014,* where media, leading MDBs, NGOs, and private sector organizations will be invited.
